Swindon
Dolphin fell to their third straight defeat against a strong well drilled

University
of
Bristol

side.

Dolphin
started the fixture well with attacks being traded by both teams.

Bristol

made the initial break trough from a man-up situation. Dolphin soon hit back though
through Captain Andy Hicks who scored with an excellent five meter shot. That was
the

high point

for Dolphin. The students scored three unanswered goals through ex GB international
Sean Love. The quarter ended with Dolphin trailing by three.

The
second quarter continued on from where the first finished. Love scored four more times
before Dolphin replied through Hicks and Matt James.

Bristol

scored one more before the end of the half to give themselves a comfortable 9-4 lead.

Swindon

battled
hard in the third period and started to match the university side. Hicks and James
again scored to pull them back into the fixture. The students strength in depth showed
through though as they still managed to win the quarter four goals to two.

Hicks
and James again found the target in the final period but this was again matched by
the students, Dolphin having their best period of the match though ensured it finished
level at two goals each. Sadly this was not enough to stop Dolphin from slipping to
a 15-8 defeat.

Andy
Prowse commented after the game that the team should not be two downhearted. Although
we have slipped to three straight defeats they have been against two of the stronger
teams in the league who both have two unbelieveable players. We have to ensure that
we do not make sloppy miostakes when we play the weaker sides, playing the strong
teams can only help us in this respect. Mid table is still our aim as well as putting
together another good cup run.
