Dolphin B claimed their third consecutive victory of the 2007/08 Wiltshire ASA Moonraker
Winter League at Trowbridge Leisure Centre on Saturday, winning the gala by 12 points. With
25 firsts and 12 seconds from the 39 events, Dolphin were in pole position from start
to finish but were pushed all the way by an excellent Trowbridge B team. The
girls’ under 13 year squad of Eillie
Bilko, Katie
Carter, Scarlet
Cholod, Lauren
Jolliffe and Maddie & Abbie
Easter were in splendid form all night.
Meanwhile,
the A team finished third behind Tigersharks A and Trowbridge A at the Link centre.
The boys u13 quintet of Tom
Iles, Mat
Sambrook, Niall
Westman, Noah
Kirby and Jack
Janicki picked up most points for Dolphin.
The
young Dolphin C team found it tough going again at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre
in
but turned in another brave performance and had a lot of fun in an exciting Gala won
by Salisbury Stingrays.
