Sessions 3 and 4 of the Wiltshire County Championships took place at Milton Road 33m pool last Sunday, with all competitors racing over the one length “splash and dash” distance.
Dolphin showed their class across all four strokes, picking up Senior and Junior Championship golds in each discipline. Top performance was from Matthew Rose, whose blistering 16.08s freestyle swim in the heats saw him take a new age group county record, going on to take the Senior Championship title in the final.
Other Championship golds went to Tilly Gray (butterfly and backstroke), Nigel Masters (breaststroke) and Elizabeth Beckett (breaststroke) with Junior Championships to Liam Herbert (backstroke) and Cathal Westman (breaststroke).
