Generally speaking, membership subscriptions are used to fund the core expenses of the club, for instance salaries, pool hire or busses hired for galas. However, we often need to raise additional revenue for equipment or other swimming related activities. Working within the framework of a Team Charter, The Swindon Dolphin Fundraising Team helps co-ordinate events to raise money and oversee the distribution of funds. The Team comprises of members from all areas of the club including parents.

Fundraising Team Charter
Co-ordinate and arrange fundraising activities.
Advertise and publicise fundraising activities.
Manage and prioritise a wish list.
To oversee and initiate the purchasing of items from the wish list in accordance with the wish list priorities.
To report back to the Executive Committee on the status of the wish list and fundraising activities.
Maximise the benefits raised by fundraising activities and ensure all proceeds and benefits are directed back to Swindon Dolphin Members.
To streamline the overall process of raising and spending fundraising revenue, while also ensuring a full audit trail is captured covering all activities/actions throughout.
