Squad Criteria Swimmers to be within a minimum of 3% of National Open, Youth and Age Group times. Total commitment to training, attend a minimum of 7 sessions out of 9. Swimmers will be selected based on their long term potential, attitude, attendance and commitment to the Swindon Dolphin programme. Wild Cards – any swimmer the Chief Coach feels would benefit from training in this group. Aims Representation and success at British National competitions. To create a training environment where success becomes inevitable. To play a mentor role to the younger swimmers coming through in the club. Competitions British & National Championships South West Regional Championships Wiltshire County Championships Level 1 Open Meets Land Training To be an extra, not an instead of – minimum 2 per week (Monday and Saturday) Equipment Squad members are required to bring the following equipment to every session : Goggles, Drinks bottle, Kick board, Pull buoy, Band, Paddles, Short fins/Zoomers, Recording board and pencil (will be supplied) & Snorkel.
